Among the greatest lessons I've learned is that in order to facilitate the levels of healing that are needed in these times, a spiritual framework that includes the body is not only beneficial but absolutely necessary!
The western model of a client going to see a professional for an hour a week is simply not enough to facilitate the level of transformative healing that is needed to actually clear trauma, deal with the stressors of our time, and improve the quality of people’s lives. In recent years I've watched many of the people I work with in therapy struggle with increased mental and emotional suffering as a result of the many stressors we are collectively facing.
Now more than ever I believe that individual and collective practice is the best way to heal at the deepest levels, transform our lives, and sustain well being over time. A healing program that includes the body, mind, and spirit will require more of a time commitment than traditional therapy, but also has the capacity to exponentially increase your progress along your healing journey.

Cultivating mindful and compassionate awareness practice group includes the 4 foundations of mindfulness, the Brahma viharas: divine abodes of the heart, working with difficult emotions, practices for balancing the subtle energies of the mind and body.
